Welcome to Maple Leaf Bosties, Ontario's premier Boston Terrier breeding program. For over 15 years, we've been dedicated to breeding exceptional Boston Terriers that exemplify the breed standard while making wonderful family companions.
Located in beautiful Oakville, Ontario, our breeding program is built on a foundation of health, temperament, and conformation excellence. We are proud members of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and the Boston Terrier Club of Canada. Our dogs have earned multiple championships and have been recognized for their outstanding quality both in the show ring and as beloved family pets.
Every puppy born at Maple Leaf Bosties is raised in our home with our family. From day one, our puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), are exposed to various household sounds and experiences, and receive daily handling and socialization. We use a comprehensive puppy curriculum that includes crate training introduction, potty training basics, and exposure to children, other dogs, and various environments.
Our commitment doesn't end when your puppy goes home. We provide lifetime breeder support and love staying connected with our puppy families. Many of our families return to us for their second, third, and even fourth Boston Terrier!
Our Breeding Philosophy
At Maple Leaf Bosties, we believe in breeding with purpose and integrity. Quality always comes before quantity - we typically have only 3-4 carefully planned litters per year. This allows us to give each puppy the individual attention and socialization they need to thrive.
Our breeding program focuses on three core pillars: health, temperament, and conformation. All our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health testing including BAER (hearing), patella evaluation, cardiac examination, eye certification (CERF), and genetic testing for hereditary conditions. We only breed dogs with excellent temperaments who are sound representatives of the breed standard.
We are committed to the betterment of the Boston Terrier breed and to placing our puppies in loving, responsible homes where they will be cherished family members for life.

Where do your dogs live and how are puppies raised?
All our dogs live in our home as beloved family members - no kennels! Puppies are whelped in our bedroom and raised in our living areas where they're exposed to daily household activities, sounds, and experiences. They interact with our children, other dogs, and visitors regularly to ensure proper socialization.
What health testing do you perform on your breeding dogs?
We perform comprehensive health testing on all breeding dogs including BAER testing for hearing, patella evaluation by a certified veterinarian, cardiac examination, CERF eye certification, and DNA testing for hereditary cataracts, juvenile hereditary cataracts (JHC), and other genetic conditions. All test results are available for review.
Do you offer a health guarantee?
Absolutely! All our puppies come with a comprehensive 2-year genetic health guarantee. We stand behind the health and quality of every puppy we produce. Additionally, all puppies are veterinarian examined, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped before going home.
What is your puppy selection process?
We carefully match puppies to families based on temperament, lifestyle, and preferences. Families on our waitlist are contacted in order when puppies are 6-7 weeks old, after we've completed temperament evaluations. We provide detailed information about each puppy to help you make the best choice for your family.
Do you ship puppies or require pickup?
We prefer families to pick up their puppies in person so we can meet you and ensure a smooth transition. However, we can arrange safe ground transportation within Ontario and to neighboring provinces for families who cannot travel. We do not ship puppies by air as we believe it's too stressful for young puppies.
What comes with a Maple Leaf Bosties puppy?
Each puppy goes home with CKC registration papers, complete health records, first vaccinations, microchip, deworming records, a puppy care package including food, toys, and blanket with littermate scent, a comprehensive puppy manual, and lifetime breeder support. We're always just a phone call or email away!
